That’s a very good question. During my free, half-hour consultation sessions, we take a look at your business aspirations and your vision.

Based on our discussion, I will be in a position to answer your question fully and honestly.

This is highly variable. Depending on readiness, availability of prefered trade names, availability of key documents, etc… I have seen licenses issued in as little as 24 business hours. On the other hand, I have seen the process be delayed over three weeks.

While we have an amazingly efficient system in TAMM, and hard-working support at the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, system glitches do occur and it’s important to keep that in mind to manage expectations.

At the moment, I only offer packages for licensing support.

All other services such as business systems support and research are provided based on client needs, in line with a preliminary consultation, and are billed hourly.

If I see a need, I may offer ongoing support packages in the future.

I’m always happy to speak to culturally sensitive people and guide them with what I’ve learned along my own journey. I’d also like to take a moment to guide you toward the resources page where I list books that have been instrumental in finding my footing in the Gulf region.

Being the social butterfly and research enthusiast that I am, I have amassed a rolodex of trusted resources during my time in Abu Dhabi. Based on your needs, I am happy to recommend trusted partners to help you along the way.

Good question. I can definitely liaise with the government on your behalf. In fact, I have spent many hours with local authorities, advocating on behalf of my clients.

However, I do not have the legal coverage to apply for licensing on your behalf.

Virtual licensing support

for freelancers – 250 AED

For the aspiring entrepreneur who knows what they want and just need a guiding presence to reach the next level.
These three-hour sessions are booked in the mornings, Monday through Thursday. During the Google Meet session, I walk clients through the Freelancer License application process and explain each step along the way.

A complimentary half-hour consultation is necessary beforehand.

In-person licensing support

for freelancers – 650 AED

For the business-woman who appreciates wraparound support and extra reassurance throughout the process.
These three-hour sessions are booked in the mornings, Monday through Thursday and include personalized, in-person walkthrough of the Freelancer License application process.

I travel to my client, anywhere within a 20KM radius of Reem Island. If there is any troubleshooting needed, I travel to the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development myself to assess and fix.

A complimentary half-hour consultation is necessary beforehand.

Clients outside of the service area, but within a 50KM radius will be charged an additional 100 AED.
